The photonics network

Photonics France represents the photonics sector both nationally and internationally. Its stakeholders, located around the world, form a clear and interdependent network.

In France

France has a well-structured network comprising competitiveness clusters, national associations and the national federation, Photonics France, which work together to raise the profile and promote the photonics sector.

Across Europe

In Europe, national associations ensure that the photonics sector is represented in the various countries. They all operate within the framework of pan-European associations such as EPIC and Photonics21.

SPIE is the international society for optics and photonics. It has been a non-profit organisation since its foundation in 1955, connecting, engaging and serving its global membership of engineers, scientists, students and industry leaders. SPIE’s mission is to partner with researchers, educators and industry to advance light-based research and technologies.
