LABORATOIRE DE PHOTONIQUE D’ANGERS – UNIV ANGERS

Le LPhiA, unité de recherche de l’Université d’Angers, dispose d’un plateau technique « lasers et imagerie » et se consacre à l’étude des interactions lumière-matière. Ses principaux axes portent sur les lasers à fibre, les solitons spatio-temporels, l’optique non linéaire en guides nanométriques, ainsi que la métrologie de l’indice non linéaire. Le laboratoire caractérise des matériaux innovants pour des applications optoélectroniques et étudie les propriétés optiques des milieux amorphes. Il s’intéresse également aux moteurs moléculaires photo-stimulés et aux couches minces photovoltaïques.

The LPhiA, a research unit of the University of Angers, has a technical platform dedicated to « lasers and imaging » and focuses on the study of light-matter interactions. Its main research areas include fiber lasers, spatio-temporal solitons, nonlinear optics in nanoscale waveguides, as well as metrology of the nonlinear refractive index. The laboratory characterizes innovative materials for optoelectronic applications and investigates the optical properties of amorphous media. It is also interested in photo-stimulated molecular motors and thin-film photovoltaic layers.
