SOCIETE FRANCAISE D’OPTIQUE (SFO)
La Société Française d’Optique, branche française de la Société Européenne d’Optique (E.O.S.), a pour mission de favoriser les échanges scientifiques et techniques entre les acteurs de la recherche et développement en optique et photonique, dans le cadre d’une association indépendante en charge de la promotion du domaine comme discipline scientifique mais aussi comme vecteur d’innovation technologique.
Dans ce but, la Société Française d’Optique organise et parraine des réunions scientifiques. Elle entretient des relations avec d’autres sociétés ou organismes nationaux ou internationaux ayant des intérêts similaires. Le Conseil d’Administration de la Société joue le rôle de Comité Français d’Optique pour représenter la France auprès de la Commission Internationale d’Optique ( I.C.O.).
The French Optics Society, the French branch of the European Optics Society (EOS), aims to promote scientific and technical exchanges between the actors of research and development in optics and photonics, within the framework of an association independent in charge of promoting the field as a scientific discipline but also as a vector of technological innovation.
For this purpose, the French Society of Optics organizes and sponsors scientific meetings. It maintains relations with other national or international companies or organizations with similar interests. The Board of Directors of the Company plays the role of French Optics Committee to represent France at the International Commission of Optics (ICO).
